Mitutoyo Dial Indicator

The Letter Suffix: Unless otherwise specified, the Dial Indicator will be supplies with a Lug-on-Center Back. Otherwise, the following suffixes will appear immediately after the model number. Please specify when ordering.

2044B- the "B" letter means Flat Back instead of Lug-on-Center Back.
1011E- the "E" letter means the unit is supplied with a Flat Crystal and Limit Hands.
2047F- the "F" letter indicates an indicator supplied with Mitutoyo's new-type Flat Crystal which has one piece Bezel and Crystal.
For moisture resistance, metric models have a groove at the stem bottom.
2046FE- the "FE" letter indicates new type Flat Crystal (metric model only).

The Two Number Suffix: After the hyphen (-), the two numbers that follow it have specific meanings. Consequently, we have a First Suffix or the features designated by the first numerals of this double digit figure and the Second Suffix which further specifies the indicator feature.

First Suffix- the First number of the two digit suffix.
2947-10- "1" indicates that the indicator has Jeweled Bearings.
2945-40- "4" indicates that the indicator is "ND-type", and indicator with a modified integral gear assembly.
2470-50- "5" indicates an ND-type (same as above) with Jeweled Bearing.
2410-60- "6" indicates with Waterproof feature.
2910-72- "7" indicates ND-type with bothWaterproof and Jeweled Bearings.
2805F-80- "8" indicates that the indicator is furnished with Spindle Stop feature.
Second Suffix- the last number of the two digit suffix.
2109-11- "1" indicates that this is a Metric indicator, ANSI specification.
2910-72- "2" indicates that the indicator has Shockproof and Water-resistant features.
2900-73- "3" indicates a Metric indicator, ANSI specs, with Shockproof and Water-resistant features.
1803-14- "4" indicates that this is a Inch indicator with 8mm stem diameter.
2410F-06- "6" indicates black dial face with orange hands.
2045-69- "9" indicates that the indicator is furnished with Shockproof mechanism.
